Occurring ten years from now, the second stage of development requires the acquisition of the adjacent building. The design punches through the rear of the western load bearing wall and relocates the kitchen and one bathroom to the new building. It also converts the current storage room into a second bathroom. The front portion of the new building can be made into one or two units to be rented out as a small business incubator or for supplementary income. The façade of this building will be made all glass as well to complement the aesthetics of the original property and act as a deterrent for undesirable behavior. The back of the new lot will be made into a garden where fresh produce can be grown for use in the restaurant.
